At Puzzles Child Care, we see every child as a 'Mighty Learner', curious, capable, and full of potential. Our program supports each child’s unique needs through meaningful play, engaging activities, and strong connections with families, educators, and the community.
We nurture confidence, communication, and independence, encouraging children to make choices and take responsibility. In our inclusive, responsive environment, every child is valued, respected, and heard. Through creative play, they grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and creatively—all within a framework of supportive guidance.
Our program is informed by Alberta's FLIGHT curriculum framework. Puzzles Child Care was coached through a Pedagogical Leadership Program for 3 years and remains actively engaged in this framework. Educators make-meaning from play while observing children's dispositions to learn as co-researchers, co-learners, and co-imaginers of possibilities.
Puzzles Child Care is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child is treated with respect, dignity, and kindness. We believe diversity is a strength and work to ensure all children have equal access to support, resources, and opportunities.
Our educators receive ongoing training to provide inclusive, high-quality care, and we offer tailored support for children with additional needs to promote well-being and meaningful participation in all areas of the program.
At Puzzles Child Care, we recognize every child as a 'Mighty Learner'—strong, resourceful, and capable. Our responsive and inclusive environment nurtures each child’s natural disposition to learn, ensuring that every learner feels supported and engaged. As a place of vitality, we provide opportunities for access, support, and active participation. We value the power of relationships with families, educators, and the community, creating meaningful connections that enrich each child’s early learning experience. Our commitment extends to fostering self-regulation and social-emotional development, guided by evidence-based intervention strategies through the Pyramid Model.
